Annual Business Meeting
 
President Jennifer Straughan called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.

Guests:  Brenda brought her husband, Tom; Curt brought his son Jason.
 
Announcements:  Dave Bell sent a message to club looking for Gallery ushers for the Fine Arts at the fair. See below for his contact information.  Udo shared the menu for dinner for eight on Aug 4th- featuring food from 17 different countries; $30 per person;  Carl mentioned the article in the district newsletter about Udo, Carl also attended Jerry Trainers memorial service; July 21 is the trip on the Hiawatha trail and will meet up there at 8:30 a.m. there. $11 for trail pass and $9 for the shuttle.  Susan got an email from Deena at the Mansifeld center thanking us for hosting the Mansfield scholars at our Rotary Meeting;  
 
Curt gave the Rotary minute and talked about Rotary International Convention and he encouraged everybody in Rotary at least to go to one convention. Betsy added that the Toronto convention exceeded her expectations.
 
Happy Bucks: Brenda had hip surgery and it went  well. Hugh is glad we are a breakfast club because of traffic; Bardwick is happy that he sees Betsy sitting with the common Rotarians this morning.
 
Jennifer discussed the survey she sent out.  Overall consensus from the club on the goals and functions of our club a generally positive.
 
Jennifer collected the notes from the table discussions . Jennifer also requested that a sign up sheet for service projects be attached to the minutes. It is attached to these minutes.
 
The 4-way test was recited and the meeting was adjourned at 8:29 a.m.
