Recognition:
President David Chatson opened the meeting by recognizing as a Bell Ringer, a member who has been missed while on holidays, who leads an important committee of our club and has repeatedly accepted the role of secretary of our club’s board - Cameron Yule.

Announcements:
Using our Wine Quiz, president David informed the members of the Club Leadership Assembly being held on Saturday in Cambridge.

Cameron Yule informed members of the In Vino Caritas event on April 19, and the opportunity for members to provide more wine for the wheel barrow, sponsors and to purchase tickets. There is also a need for volunteer assistants at the event.

John Webster is attempting to organize the hosting of a dinner in a meeting room of his Toronto law firm’s office for the Rotary International Conference. He will be asking for about 10 club members to join him in hosting about 10 international visitors.

Program:
Our speaker was Jim Kibble, an Estate Consultant who provides consulting on a fee for service basis to those setting up a will. He also provides workshops once per month at Henry Walser Funeral home for those who want to learn more about the process. It quickly became apparent that any will established before 2015 needs to be reviewed because of the legislation established in 2015. It also became apparent that the task of an executor of a will is far more demanding than it has been in the past. Call Jim at 226 600-2984, or email him at jim@kibblefamily.com if you want more information.
