More Than Wet Behind the Years - #WorldWaterDay

Peter is an advocate for educating youth about the importance of conserving and preserving our water resources. Chair of Ground Water Education Ontario in 1993, developed the concept of a Canadian Children’s Groundwater Festival. Partnering with industry, UWaterloo, and Grand River Conservation Authority, the first Canadian children’s water festival was held in in 1994. Today, in 30 communities across Ontario, more than 700,000 children have experienced a groundwater festival.
