This Week's News
Sunrise Rotarians, members of the Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman and Earlyact came out to the Cayman Islands Humane Society last Sunday morning for fellowship and dog walking. Director Ivana said there was also bath time for the puppies which everyone enjoyed!
Thank you to everyone who came out on Sunday morning especially Mrs Chow for brining the EarlyActors! ‪

All hands on deck are needed for this year's annual Community Christmas Parties!  The North Side and Central Scranton Community Party is December 19th at 6pm and 5:30pm respectively, and the Windsor Park Community Party is on December 12th at 3pm.

Volunteers are needed to help serve food at each event. Members of each community look forward to this annual event and the service which Rotarians provide. It's a special night when we can come together with the community, to serve great food, enjoy music and dancing and seeing the smiling faces of the kids and seniors in attendance. This is a great and fun fill event and we highly encourage new Rotarians to sign up for one of them.

More details to follow via emails and club meeting announcements.
Director Jerrell and President Christine were at last week’s EarlyAct meeting. The children were given an interactive lesson on the running of a Club meeting and the role of a club’s officers. Children were also asked what fundraising activities they wished to undertake and  how they wished to spend their funds. Fundraising suggestions included a car wash and a bake sale and the majority of the kids wanted to support environmental issues including protecting the reefs and animal welfare. Stay tuned for more updates from EarlyAct and how you can help a future generation of Rotarians.

Please Join Us to celebrate the 2015 holiday season in style, with a Club Christmas Party Potluck Feast!

This year's annual Club Meeting Christmas Party takes place on Wednesday, December 16th at 6:30pm at the home of Rotarian Berna in South South. There will be much to eat and enjoy and as it's potluck style, we ask Rotarians to contribute a dish or dessert. The food list below are suggestions, and if you chose to bring from below, please let Rotarian Dawn know so we can keep a track of what is coming. Wine will be provided by the club.

ham, - pasta dish, - salad or steamed vegetables, - appetizers, - potato/sweet potato dish, - cranberry sauce, - cheese/fruit platters, - ice, - water, - juices for kids,  - desserts, - dinner rolls, -  disposable plates,  - disposable cups,  - disposable cutlery.

Whatever item you will be bringing, please let Dawn know via email so we can keep track of everything. Please note that this is considered a club meeting and spouses, guests and family members are also welcomed. The morning meeting will be cancelled and the Christmas Party meeting will be the last one for the year until Wednesday, January 6th 2016.

Also, Santa will be in attendance once again to hand out gifts to our little ones.  He will also be available for photo ops - creativity encouraged!  If you would like for your child to receive a present from Santa please arrange for a gift to be given to me ahead of time (wrapped and tagged with your child's name on it), and I will ensure it gets to Santa.
