Condolences from Rotary Sunrise

Fellow Rotarians,
It is with great sadness that I announce that past fellow Sunrise Rotarian James Chiweshe passed away Saturday afternoon after he collapsed while shopping at a supermarket in Kingston, Jamiaca. I received notification late Sunday night from both Mark Macfee as James worked with Caribbean Publishing Company and President Allison of the Rotary Club of Kingston, Jamaica. James was an active Rotarian in Kingston and a incoming Foundation Director.
A number of Sunriser Rotarians had the opportunity to visit with him a few weeks ago at the District Conference in Montego Bay which makes this an even more shocking event. James was a member of Rotary Sunrise from 2008 - 2013 and served as treasurer of the club and was active in the Cayman Islands community. James was originally from Zimbabwe.
Our deepest condolences go out to his wife Agnes and his family during this difficult time.
May his soul rest in peace.

Nepal Relief - Indian Cuisine Fundraiser This Sunday Submitted from Communications
Rotarian Krishna Mani is working closely with the Indian community to organize a curry lunch this Sunday, 14th June at the Catholic Church. Proceeds from the lunch will be donated through Rotary Sunrise to the Rotary Foundation to their specific (DAF) Donor Advised Fund set up for the earthquake relief in Nepal.
Lunches are prepared by some of the best Indian restaurants. The price is $15 and tickets will be made available at our club meeting this week.

Rotary E-Club of the Caribbean 7020: Online meetings any time. Visit the new e-club platform at http://e7020clubhouse.ning.com If members are unable to make a regular weekly meeting or Rotary event, make-ups can be done online. The e-Club website is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You just need to spend a minimum of 30 minutes on the site and answer some questions to get the make up certificate.
Travelling: If you are going to be travelling for an extended period of time - more than two weeks be sure to let the Secretary know and remember to submit any make-ups you do in a timely manner.
