Continuing our involvement in and commitment to the excellent work being done by Ms. Jackie Neal and the Loud, Silent, Voices Organisation we hope to continue to make an exponentially increasing difference in the provision of care and assistance to the mentally challenged in our community.
Community Service Director, Patrick Schmid and Secretary PP Monica Ramgeet recently caught up with Ms. Neal who relayed updates on the 6 persons currently housed in the facility in West Bay and added that the organisation has begun work with Mr. Michael Myles and his vocational training efforts. Ms. Neal expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of Rotary Central and the genuine interest we demonstrate in the progress of the program. Director Patrick presented Ms. Neal with a further cheque for CI$5000. It was agreed that Ms. Neal will arrange with Secretary Monica to visit the Club as Guest Speaker (along with Dr. Lockhart) in January, 2022 for a further update.
