A Thousand Pairs of Little Shoes - presentation to Rotary Central Members...
"Thousand Pairs of Little Shoes" is a charity which was established to support the children of rural areas in Kenya. The leading cause of disease in developing countries is soil-transmitted parasites which penetrate the skin through open sores. Wearing shoes can prevent cuts and sores. Many children in rural areas of Kenya walk for miles, barefoot, to collect water - a pair of shoes is a simple answer to a serious problem. Renata has singe-handedly arranged delivery of over 1000 pairs of shoes to date. For more information visit www.tplskenya.com.
