About Our Club

The Rotary Club of Cayman Brac was first discussed in June 1980. The sparks flew and enthusiasm was high but like most things in the Brac, it fizzled out. It was rekindled again in June 1981 when 20 men who were all out to change the community founded the Provisional Club. The club was officially chartered by Rotary International on December 29, 1981 and the charter was handed over on March 26, 1982 to the clubs first President, Trevor Foster (deceased) by the District Governor, Constantinous Coulianous (deceased).

Over the years, the Club has benefited from the tremendous efforts, leadership skills and expertise of our outstanding Rotarians who have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects within the community. We continue to serve our community today just as vibrantly and passionately as 1981!
