Rotaractor Aisha Liburd joins Rotary Club of Tortola

 

 

Aisha Liburd has been a dedicated member of the Rotaract Club of Tortola for the past eight years.  She was the Club's Secretary, Treasurer/Fundraising Chair and International Service Director.  She has also served on the District Board as Assistant District Rotaract Representative, responsible for four clubs in the British Virgin Islands and United States Virgin Islands for two consecutive years as well as Assistant District Rotaract Secretary.

 

Aisha is always available to serve, to share her knowledge, offer advice and give valuable input where needed, no matter the time of day.

 

Past President of the Rotaract Club Aisha (PP Aisha) has had the opportunity to attend many District Conferences, District Leadership Training, Rotary International Convention and has also completed Rotary Grant Management Seminar as well as Parts 1 and 2 of Rotary Leadership Institute.  She sat for two terms as the Secretary for our local Council of Rotary Presidents headed by DGND/PAG Delma Maduro and has been on several Rotary Committees throughout the years.  PP Aisha was also on the committees to charter the Rotaract Club of Virgin Gorda and more recently, gave of her time and knowledge in training members of the recently chartered Interact Club of Bregado Flax Educational Centre on Virgin Gorda.
