Club Helps People Living with HIV/AIDS

The club recently donated $25,000 to the BVI HIV/AID Foundation in support of the charitable organisation's programme to provide testing, care and treatment for people with HIV and AIDS.
The donation was part proceeds from the 2008 Grand Affair. The funds will be used to pay for HIV testing of pregnant women and to provide care and treatment to some of the 23 BVI residents presently living with HIV or AIDS.
The presentation was made by President Percy Rhoden, Past President Delma Maduro, and Past ADG Audley Maduro to the BVI HIV/AIDS Foundation at the organisation's Artists Against AIDS concert in December.
