On Thursday 19th April, Merritt Storr, Managing Partner at Providence Law, spoke to the members of the Rotary Club of West Nassau.
Mr. Storr addressed the topic of 'Proposed amendments to the Sexual Offences Act and the subject of Marital Rape'. The subject drew a lot of attention from both visiting Rotarians as well as the media in general.
In addition to his presentation, Merritt took the opportunity to make a substantial donation to the Road to Peace Initiative in support of the work they are doing in the community. Accepting on behalf of RTP was co-Chair, Past President William U. Wong.
Past President Dr. Kendal Major gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the club.
