On Thursday, 11th January 2018, RCWN welcomed Leonard Sands to present at their meeting. Mr. Sands is the President of the Bahamas Contractors Association. His topic was the Bahamas Construction Contractors Act 2016.
Mr. Sands outlined the benefits of the legislation to Bahamian society. The Act serves to protect not only contractors, but consumers alike. This is achieved through the minimum requirements placed on practitioners in the construction industry.
Members of the club were intrigued by the presentation and had many questions for Mr. Sands.
The meeting took place at the Poop Deck at Sandyport.
