Quentin Knowles is the President of Flameless Electrical Contracting Ltd, a leading local electrical contracting firm and Engineering Solutions & Consulting Ltd.

Over the past 30 years, he has been involved with a variety of projects including large residences, private island resorts and hospitals. Most recently, Flameless was a part of the construction team that completed the new Critical Care Block at the PMH. Likewise in my engineering business Mr. Knowles has worked on many large scale projects such as BahaMar, LPIA and Albany, where I served as Engineer of Record

For the past 15 plus years Mr. Knowles has contributed to the work and progress made in the Bahamas Society of Engineers serving in various capacities on its board, now serving as its President. Presently, he is Chairman of the Assessment Committee of the Professional Engineers Board (responsible for licensing local engineers), a member of the PAC committee at BTVI, a member of the Technical Committee of the Bahamas Bureau of Standards & Quality and an Associate on the technical committee for the Canadian Electrical Code (Electrical Code applicable in the Bahamas).
