Walk-About in the Urban Renewal Communities

The Ministry of Social Services and Community Development in conjunction with the National Council on Older Persons is preparing to celebrate United Nations International Day of Older Persons and Older Persons Month during the month of October 2016. The theme is “Take a Stand Against Ageism”

Monday, 30th September, 2016 - Walk-About in the Urban Renewal Communities

The purpose of this walk –about is to disseminate information and meet and greet older persons in the surrounding areas.

We request that 1-2 Rotarians assist at each of the nine (9) Urban Renewal Centers with giving out prepared information during the community walk.
