TRANSFORMING TOURISM IN THE BAHAMAS

Minister Vanderpol-Wallace spoke about the need to transform tourism in the Bahamas and the fact that there are endless possibilities for expanding this sector of our economy. He said that we have done ourselves a disservice by promoting the Bahamas as Nassau and Paradise Island. Instead, we need to promote the other islands of the Bahamas and their unique qualities which will provide a variety of experiences for our visitors.
