Islands of the World Fashion Week

This spectacular event will showcase more than 36 designers representing 13 island nations states and is expected to be an expression of culture through the creative arts including fashion. Both new and established designers will showcase their creations on the catwalks over the four -day period. Ten Bahamian designers will also be a part of the event including Apryl Weech, Carlos Valentino, Christine Demeritte, Elements, Garfi Designs, Harl Taylor Bag, House of St. John, La Bonne Vie Bahamas, Lisa Humes and Opama Designs. Nick Verreos of the fashion reality series "Project Runway" as well as Kevan Hall, designer to the stars will also be featured. The winner of the Humanitarian Designer Award will be announced shortly and will also participated in the event.
