Members at our May 6 club meeting getting excited for the 2019/20 Rotary Year.
On May 6 we discussed PETS participants' experiences as well as a looked ahead to the 2019/20 Rotary Year.
PE Bradley has identified two keystone projects he hopes to tackle: provide BRCA genetic testing for women in Abaco (breast cancer screening) and organizing a diabetes testing/information workshop.
The major focus of District’s 2019/20 year is to address the diabetes epidemic in our Caribbean nations.
Our Club motto for the upcoming year, R.O.A.R. means we will take RISKS that leverage our clubs’ strengths; we will be known for our OUTREACH in our community; we will be people of ACTION; and we will frame all of this with the tenants and structure of ROTARY.
Leveraging the legacy of RI’s push for Polio eradication (We are THIS close), District has committed to a major, multi-year initiative: HANWASH.
