If you have an idea or topic that you would like to present to us, we would be honored to hear from you at one of our meetings!
 
About Our Meeting:
Every first Tuesday of the month we meet at 6:00 pm for an hour. We start with guest introductions and move on to Speaker Presentations after the first 15 minutes. Agenda may vary but you'll be notified in advance. 
 
Your Presentation:
If you are interested in Speaking, please send us a short biography as well as a brief outline of your presentation. If you have a power point slide or video that you would like to bring to aid your presentation, you are of course welcome to do so. We will dedicate 20-30 minutes of time for your presentation. If you require more time to present your ideas, please let us know ahead of time so we can arrange accordingly.

Topic: Growing our Urban Forest
 
BIO: Speaker’s Bio: Daniel Dinell is former President of Hawaii Coffee Company where he led the company to record sales volumes and re-branded the icon Lion Coffee brand. Previously he worked for Hilton Grand Vacations and Hilton Hotels in positions in Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Honolulu. Born and raised in Honolulu, a product of the Hawaii public schools, Dinell holds a BA in political science from Colorado College and attended graduate school as a Monbusho Scholar at the University of Tokyo.

Topic: Carbon Neutrality Challenge 
 
About the Presentation: Dr. Camilo Mora and his daughter, Asryelle, a Punahou student and the mastermind behind the carbon neutrality project, will talk about The Carbon Neutrality Challenge and making Hawaii Carbon Neutral by planting trees and increasing people's awareness about our carbon footprint. Asryelle has been awarded a recognition from the City Council for her work planting trees in Oahu. She is also the lead author of several stories in local news media and journals about the importance of trees. Camilo Mora, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor, Department of Geography, University of Hawaii Manoa.
