Day of Giving 2020

Day of Giving is an annual event that is organized by the Rotaract Club of Barrie. Day of Giving is a day where Club members and other volunteers reach out to the Barrie area community to assist those in need. With ongoing social distancing requirements in place, we are still able to assist our community with specific tasks such as yard work, gardening, small painting projects, raking leaves, and other outdoor tasks that can be performed in compliance with social distancing measures.

In the event of inclement weather, we will attempt to re-schedule Day of Giving at another date. Individuals will be contacted in the event of cancellation.

How do I sign up for assistance?

Individuals can sign up through email or phone. Family members may also sign up on behalf of those in need, provided that the individual in need has consented to allowing our volunteers to assist them on the day.

Please provide the following information when emailing or calling:

• Name of individual to receive assistance
• Address of the individual
• Assistance required/jobs to be performed
• Contact information of the individual

This information will only be used by the Club in order to deliver the services in connection with Day of Giving and to communicate any important information with individuals in the event of inclement weather or delays in arrival.
