Inducting a New Member:
Membership Chair-Susan Murata introduced Richard Schwartz who was being inducted into the club.  Richard is a 15-year resident of Simi Valley and recently retired and is looking to give back to his community.  He thinks Rotary is the best place to do that.  He and wife Julie are celebrating their 15-year anniversary on October 10th.

President Darin performed the Induction Ceremony, and the club gave Richard a standing ovation to welcome him into the Club.

Richard then spoke to the club saying he is looking forward to his membership and told the club one of his hobbies is comedy writing, which was evident by the hilarious speech he wrote for his induction.

BECOMING A ROTARIAN IS A MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE....

Invite a friend, family member, colleague to join Rotary.

Encourage Them to Be Part of Something GREAT!!!

Why wouldn’t you want them to be part of an organization that feeds the hungry, cures the sick, provides education to women and children, provides clean water and sanitation.   And now is taking on the environment.
