President Pat opened the meeting and invited Ken Kossoff to come forward to lead the pledge of Allegiance; followed by Nancy Wohl leading the club in God Bless America.
 
Ken was inspired by last week’s speaker, Jessica Rodriguez who provides aquatic based programs for children with disabilities and is out in the community spreading the word about the program, which he previously did not know about.
 
Karen Furnari- introduced guests:  Cindy Murray, Emily Goglia, Friable Zabilka (5 Star Theatricals/speakers) ,Steve Pederson, Grand Pederson, Diane Fulsom, Tony Kourounis.

Jim Friedl  April 19th from 9-12, Earth Day Project.  picking up trash on the trail near Hillcrest drive, there are 20 spots left
 
Michelle Nash Harbor House Meal Prep – lunch making - we are making 90 lunches for the homeless on Saturday April 5th at Michelle Nash’s house.

HAPPY DOLLARS: Victor Hayek carried the Happy cup
 

Victor  started Happy Dollars and was happy that Bob Lewis will be back soon.

Trevor Tyloch gave Karen Furnari a hat for dogs from the Iron Mountain trade show.

Steve Pederson was happy to be there and see everyone.

Martin Anderson was happy that Karen Furnari used to work at Kinkos.

Tony Kourounis was happy that he is not a one-timer and he is back at work.

Vicki Arndt relayed greetings from India to Roger Benson.

Felix Masci was happy to be in the club with Dave Wender, Ken Warner, Trevor Tyloch, Ean Kleiger.

David Harris thanked all the Rotarians who have been supportive of him after his surgery.

Cindy Murray was happy for whoever put her name with Emily Gorilla’s face.

Chris Lamia said that Felix Masci was playing two truths and a lie by putting Trevor in that group

PROGRAM: 5 Star Theatricals Chris Steele introduced the guest Speakers and Performers.
 
Cindy Murray joined 5 Star Theatricals in 2007, she joined the board in 2011 and in 2019 she became the Executive Director. She has a passion for the arts and is a champion for the arts.  She introduced two of 5 Star Theatricals performers, Emily Gorglia and Frankie Zabilka.
 
They sang the song “Suddenly Seymour” from Little Shop of Horrors.  Emily attended Westlake High School, USC. She starred in Cabaret and Little Shop of Horrors.  Frankie is from Chicago. He starred in Cinderella, he also hosts the Naval Base show in Port Hueneme. Next they sang another song from Little Shop of Horrors.  Their last song was from Frozen, which is coming this summer, July 2025.
 
Pres. Pat had him sign a book that will be donated to at title one school in our area.
