The Four Avenues of Service are based on the best practices of effective Rotary clubs. These four "avenues" are the foundation for an effective club.
  • Sustaining or increasing the membership base
  • Implementing successful service projects that address the needs of it's community and communities in other countries
  • Supporting The Rotary Foundation through both financial contributions and program participation
  • Developing leaders capable of serving in Rotary beyond the club level

How do we accomplish this?? Through these best practices, "Leadership Plan"...

  1. Develop long-range goals that address the elements of an effective club
  2. Set annual goals that support long-range goals
  3. Make sure that all club members feel involved and informed
  4. Keep the lines of communication open, both in the club and with the district
  5. Ensure continuity in leadership from year to year
  6. Customize the bylaws to reflect club operations
  7. Provide regular fellowship opportunities
  8. Activelly involve all club members
  9. Offer regular, consistent training
