The Rotary Club of Lac La Biche requested to help at a Fish Fry event at the last minute.August Long weekend saw 19 Rotarians, Friends of Rotary and Interactors serving a Fish Fry supper to some 400 people at the newly named Summer Days event. Formally held as a POW WOW event the club were asked at very short notice to help on the day. Preparing, cooking and serving some 400 pieces of Warleye fish and salads kept everyone busy in extremely hot outdoor temperatures. Because of Covid19 restrictions this was to be the clubs main community event for the year and was not intended as a fund raising event. However some 5 weeks later the club was to receive a generous donation from the Summer Days organisation for which we are grateful.
