Following Rotary International's motto of Service Above Self, our club is involved in service in Kamloops and abroad.  Below are a few of the projects we have supported:

Kamloops Food Bank

Every Spring and every Fall, the five Rotary clubs in Kamloops, Rotaract and Interact clubs conduct a food drive for the Kamloops Food Bank. The Fall 2012 Food Drive  gathered  58,000 lbs of food. Thank you Kamloops for your generosity!

Adopt A Road

Our club cleans up Highway 5A  (old Merritt hwy) between Rogers Way and Hugh Allan Drive twice a year.

Student of the Month

Every month our club recognizes an outstanding student from Kamloops schools who serves his/her community and exemplifies the values of Rotary. Students are nominated by their schools.

Student Exchange Program

Our club sponsors a student to spend a  year abroad as part of Rotary International  Youth Exchange.
For over 75 years, students and host families have broadened their horizons through Rotary Youth Exchange. More than 80 countries and over 8,000 students each year participate in the program, which is administered at the regional level by Rotary districts and at the local level by Rotary clubs.

At the same time we host a student for a year in Kamloops. This year we are hosting  Anthony a student from Ecuador.

Smart Board acquisition at local schools

We have assisted local schools in acquiring smart boards for their classroom including: Arthur Hutton Elementary and Beattie School of the Arts

Polio Eradication

Our club supports Rotary International Polio Eradication campaign
