Geocaching... high tech treasure hunting....

During our meeting on July 17th, Stephanie Konrad, Kamloops Search and Rescue and Kathy HUmphrey were our speakers. They talked about the "sport" of Geocaching.

Geocaching is using a GPS device to find "treasure" hidden in various locations.  As part of the presentation, they had the club geocaching out in the courtyard adjacent to the CAC.

After much searching, and assistance from the "experts" the club members were able to find the geocache hidden on campus.

For more information about Geocaching, please check out the official website www.geocaching.com.

If you are interested in going out on a geocaching adventure one evening, please let Kathy know and she will set something up.

Special thanks to our "experts", Deegan Konrad and Josh Humphrey.
