Rotarians Honored at President's Night

Good food, good friends and a relaxing atmosphere marked Saturday night at The Howell Nature Center as Presidents Linda Basista and Jim Lawrence presided over the 7th Annual Livingston Sunrise Rotary President's Night Celebration.

Annmarie Stanesa provided lovely centerpieces and PE Kate Lawrence organized the evening.

 

 

The following Rotarians were honored for their exemplary service during the past year:

Rotarian of the Year - Jim Lawrence

Paul Harris Fellowship - Mike Murphy

Paul Harris Fellowship- Jeff Schreiber

Don Pobuda Community Service and Family of Rotary Award - Bryan Bradford

James G. Gilmore IV Service Above Self Award - Dave Wanlass

Avenues of Service Award - Carrie Gautsche

In addition, 20 Rotarians received awards for 100% attendance for 2010-2011.

Michael McCafferty of Pinckney High School received the Donald Pobuda Memorial Scholarship, which is an annual $1,000 award renewable for three additional years. Michael will attend Michigan State University in the fall.

Finally, incoming President Wayne Perry outlined his goals for the coming year; which included a 100% Every Rotarian Every Year and an increase in membership, participation and fun. He also unveiled the Wayne's World logo for his year.
