Kimberly Zasa will discuss this crucial organization headquartered in Ann Arbor. Gift of Life Michigan is the state's only federally designated organ and tissue recovery program, providing all services necessary for organ donation to occur in Michigan. They are a non-profit organization working 24 hours a day all over the state as a liaison between donors, hospitals and transplant centers.

There are two-$1,000 Howell Rotary scholarships, the first one is in honor of William R. Ladner and William Christopherson, long time Rotarians and the second one is a Howell Rotary club sponsored scholarship. The first and second top votes from the final round of voting will each receive one of the two-$1,000 awards. If there is a two-way tie for first, we will give each the award before going to the second top votes.
Time frame: End of March we receive the recipient applications, Round 1 will be in early April; the applications are sent out to review with due date mid-April. Round 2 will be toward the end of April and finalist due at the end of April to the school.
Time commitment: 10 - 15 min. per application (each person will get up to 7-8 applications in the first round and up to 15 applications in the second round)- about 1.5 hours the first round and about 2-3 hours the second round.
