Howell's 2018 Citizen of the Year, Carol Griffith will speak on Real Estate Trends in Livingston County and the importance of attainable housing for sustainable communities.  

Ellen Lafferty will be attending the Howell Rotary meeting with three other members of the Brighton/Howell League where they will present the formation and history of their local unit.  The group is a nonpartisan, multi-issue, grassroots organization that encourages informed, active participation of citizens in local, county, state and national government. What makes the League unique is that it's nonpartisanship - it supports and opposes issues, but not candidates or political parties.  The local league has just completed its first year back in Livingston County, and they will share their multiple accomplishments within that short amount of time, along with their goals for 2019. The Michigan League of Women Voters will be celebrating it's 100th Anniversary in 2019, with the national anniversary in 2020.
