At Last Week's Meeting …

Last week we had the opportunity to hear from Treva Daniels Carlson with the Alzheimer's Association. We heard more about the Walk to End Alzheimer's, which is happening in Howell this Saturday, October 3; scroll further to read more about how to participate! We also learned more about the 10 Healthy Habits for Your Brain.

The Howell Rotary Club is excited to have a team participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's THIS Saturday, October 3!

How can I participate, you ask?

  • Join our team to walk this Saturday, October 3 in downtown Howell. Registration starts at 9 am; walk starts at 10:30 am.
  • Unavailable to walk? Support our team goal of $1,000 and donate!

Visit the Walk to End Alzheimer's page to join our team and/or make a contribution towards our team goal. Still have questions? Reach out to team captain Nicole Matthews-Creech!

The Howell Rotary Club is excited to also have a team participating in Trivia for Literacy next Saturday, October 10! We are looking for one more member to join our team. If you are interested or would like to learn more, reach out to team captain Christy Conn!

Students Building Skills & Giving Back

As a reminder, Howell Rotary is excited to partner with the Howell Education Foundation, Howell Public Schools, and Livingston County United Way to give Howell High School Construction students a chance to put their skills into action!

Students will build a new storage shed for Livingston County United Way, gaining valuable hands-on experience while completing a project that will benefit our community for years to come.

Howell Rotary is matching community donations dollar for dollar, up to $750, to help purchase the materials the students need.

A big thank you to all of our community partners for making opportunities like this possible for our students!

Want to support the project? Donate here! 💙💛

New Members Wanted

Do you know someone who lives, works, learns, or plays in our community and lives by Service Above Self? Invite them to join us for lunch and discover how Rotary changes lives!

This year, our goal is to grow our club to 55 members.

Why?

Because every new Rotarian brings new ideas, new talents, new friendships, and a greater capacity to serve. The stronger our membership, the greater our ability to make a lasting impact in Howell, across the world, and in the lives of those who need us most.

If someone comes to mind, share our Prospective New Member Application and encourage them to take the first step toward becoming part of our Rotary family. Together, we can grow our club ... and our impact!
