This is a quick recap of items what has transpired since the in person meeting.

We had some unfortunate news this past week; Doug, Julie's partner had a relapse and is back in the hospital. We are praying for Doug's recovery and Julie to have an abundance of support and strength she needs.

Also, Lora and Bob have been under the weather and could not make it to the meeting.

In the good news category, Michael had a successful hip surgery and is high spirit much to the relief of his wife, Dr. Liz. Jeri is galavanting in Japan.

If you can send a note and spread good cheer to those mentioned above. Let me know also if you are in need of an ear, encouraging word or prayers/sending of good vibes.

I wish you well,
- Tashaki (650-451-8433)

Friends of the Rotary
The Membership committee has been hard at work focusing on recruitment and retention.
In our last meeting, committee chair Liane Nicholas introduced FRIENDS OF THE ROTARY.

Friends of Rotary is a program that invites individuals to team up with the club, contribute to the community and to assist in club projects and events when available.

Benefits of Friends of Rotary
  • Supporting Rotary service projects that help local or international communities.
  • A way for those who cannot make weekly Rotary meetings to feel involved in the effort to assist their community.
  • It can be a stepping stone for someone who wants to invest in the community but does not know a lot about Rotary.
  • It can lead to full time Rotary membership if desired.
