President's Message:
Remembering the theme of 2023-24 year - The Health and Wellness of Our Members. With the passing of Matthew Perry and learning a dear friend of mine tell me she called 998 this passed weekend, I wondered how everyone is doing.
Because if we Rotarians are not doing well how can we help our communities. Please don't wait till you are at rock bottom. I am not just talking mental health, but physical, financial, spiritual, emotional health as well. Take a deep breathe and know there is help. It may not be apparent but there it's out there. Talk to friend, find and expert, google it (or AI it). That is why the 2023 Rotary theme "CREATE HOPE in the World" is so impactful.
So, how are you doing? How are you really doing?

We will vote on the Bylaws. If you have not already read the draft copy please do so before the meeting. Thank you to those who provided feedback by the October 16th deadline when members were expected to to ask for any clarifications, questions, or mention any concerns.

Alzheimer's Walk

There is still time to donate and/or walk with your fellow Rotarians for a great cause. Almost all of us have been touched by someone who has or has cared for someone with Alzheimer's. For me it my grandmother Bessie. She gave me the gift of reading and ignited my passion for books. I missed her long before she passed away.
If you can't walk with us but can donate click here. You can choose a particular member to support their donation page or donate to the team.

During out last in-person meeting of the year (Dec. 7th) we will vote on the following:
1. At the last meeting, Membership Committee Chair, Liane Nicholas, presented membership and sponsorship requirements for the Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight.
If there are any concerns, questions or feedback suggestions, please contact Liane Nicholas by November 24th.
2. We are taking nominations for the President Elect Nominee. The PEN will be the club president during the 2025-2026 Rotary Year. If you are interested please contact me by Nov. 17th.
