Beyond Fistula helps women and girls in Africa who have recently undergone surgical repair for fistulas rebuild their lives after surgery through counseling, vocational training, and scholarships. If left untreated, obstetric fistulas can lead to physical and mental suffering, including constant urinary incontinence, social isolation, skin infections, kidney disorders, and death.
Friends for Youth matches underserved youth with caring, adult mentors with an emphasis on positive youth development, social-emotional health and wellness, prevention services, and critical skills for future self-sufficiency.
Footsteps Childcare provides infants, children, youth and their families with quality programs in a safe, nurturing and enriching environment, through caring and professional staff and family involvement. They serve 600 children daily in Belmont, San Mateo, and Redwood City.
