It's October!!!!!  where has the year gone?

We have a number of important dates before Christmas, please see below and where you can, please get involved and RSVP. Remember

• Monday 7th October– Public Holiday – no meeting
• Saturday 19th October – Everest Event - Postponed to 2025
   
• Monday 21st October Sweepstakes Tickets Working Bee, Lift the Lid - Bring a Hat and Christmas paper donation drive for Ronald MacDonald House
   
• Thursday 24th October - World Polio Day
   
• Saturday 26th October - High Tea Fashion Parade (see below)
   
• Saturday 2nd November – Bunnings BBQ (see below)
• Monday 4th November – Annual General Meeting (see below)
• Monday 18th November – Club Meeting
• Monday 2nd December – Club Meeting and Christmas Dinner

 

This will be a meeting full of activity. 

 

At this meeting we are asking all members to wear a hat for Lift the Lid on Mental Health.

 

And why not make it a Christmas Hat as we are doing a Christmas paper drive for Ronald MacDonald House. We are asking all members to bring along some Christmas paper that we can present to Merrilyn Nessi for the Team at Ronald MacDonald House to use to wrap gifts for the children.

If you are unable to purchase paper but would like to donate funds for the Board to purchase the paper on your behalf, please email Kellie at secretary@gregoryhillsrotary.org and advise the amount of $$ you would like to contribute.

 

 

We will also have the Melbourne Cup sweepstakes tickets to collate at this meeting, so bring along your stapler!!

 

We would like all members then to take some tickets to sell to your friends, family work colleagues etc.  These need to be sold and the monies returned before the big race which is taking place on Tuesday 5th November. Tickets will be $2 each.

 

 

 

 

Many hands make light work - please volunteer and advise if you are able to assist with the Bunnings BBQ on Saturday 2nd November at Gregory Hills Bunnings. It would be great to see all members helping out, a great way to catch up with friends.
