SHINING STARS FOUNDATION FOOD DRIVE

Thank you to all our club members who attended the Club Assembly on Wednesday 6th September. It was great to see everyone and wonderful to see all the food that was donated for the Shining Stars Foundation.
These donations assist the foundation to provide such a needed street outreach service in the community.
We love to be able to assist the foundation in fulfilling their motto of:
"Together we make a difference"

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We have been asked to assist the Scott Rindfleish Foundation in their upcoming event. The SR Foundation aims to raise awareness about Bowel Cancer and to support cancer patients.

On Saturday 23rd September they are holding the "One Strike at a Time - Softball Charity Event" at the Rotary Cowpasture Reserve, Camden and have asked our club to run the BBQ between 12 noon and 5pm.

If you are able to assist in running the BBQ please send an email to secretary@gregoryhillsrotary.org

District Conference 2024    8 – 10 March 2024

Bookings are now open for the District Conference 2024. The Conference is being held at the Novotel Hotel, Cliff Road, North Wollongong, a wonderful location overlooking North Beach. District Governor Tonia Barnes and the Conference Team are hard at work finalising the program so keep an eye on the District Conference Page as it will be updated over the coming weeks.

There will be speakers covering topical subjects and important Rotary projects.

District Governor Tonia Barnes has secured five accommodation options to assist Rotarians wishing to attend her Rotary District 9675 Conference from Friday 8 March to Sunday 11 March 2024. But they will not last long and you must book soon if you want to secure one of these hotels.

The hotels are the Novotel Northbeach, where the Conference will be held, the Sage Hotel, the Adina Apartment Hotel, Wollongong, Hotel Totto which opened last year, and the Mantra Wollongong.

Important to note is the Rotary Room Block unsold rooms release date – this is the date the hotels will take back their rooms, and they will no longer be available to book under this agreement. – see details on the District Conference page
