What is Rotary
Gregory Hills Next Gen Rotary is holding an information night on Wednesday 18th October 2023 to explain what Rotary does and how you can be a part of it.
We are asking all current members to bring along a friend to the meeting. We would love to see as many new faces as possible, so even if you do not know anyone from our club, that's ok we would love to meet you and share our clubs story. DISTRICT GOVERNOR MEETING WEDNESDAY 1st NOVEMBER
 
Our club meeting for Wednesday 1st November will be held at the Harrington Grove Club Country Club in partnership with the Rotary Club of Narellan to meet the District Governor, Tonia Barnes.
 
The meeting is a dinner meeting at $35 per person and needs to be paid by Friday 27th October.  Please deposit the funds into the admin account with your surname as reference and DG meeting. If you have any dietary requirements please email these to treasurer@gregoryhillsrotary.org
 
Please note the meeting time for this meeting is 6pm for 6:30pm start, dinner is served during the meeting and you must RSVP and pay by the 27th October.
 
MELBOURNE CUP TRIFECTA SWEEPSTAKE
As in previous years we are having the annual fundraiser of selling Melbourne Cup Trifecta Sweepstake Tickets. Tickets are $2 each and the prize is $1,000.00
 
For the fundraising event to be successful we need all members to assist in selling the tickets. If you were not at last weeks meeting, or you have already sold your tickets and want some more to sell please organise to collect tickets from Roslyn (Club Treasurer) via email at treasurer@gregoryhillsrotary.org
 
HIGH TEA AND FASHION SHOW - Saturday 18th November
 
Places are filling up fast, if you would like to attend please RSVP to Jill Edmondson at jilledmondson@hotmail.com.  by the 20th October. Bookings are essential.
 
On the day will be a raffle for those in attendance and one of the prizes will be a money tree!!!!! Can all members please bring along to any of the upcoming club meetings a $5 note to be attached to the money tree. Please hand the donations to Jill.  Thank you.
At last weeks meeting we had some fun wearing hats of all sorts of styles and colours to raise awareness of Australian Rotary's Health Mental Health Campaign, "Lift the Lid"
Believe it or not Christmas is not to far away!!

World Polio Day is 24th October ! If you would like to ride the Polio train please see the District email that was sent to all District members with the timetable for the train.
