Welcome to the June issue of our Bulletin.
 
And just like that my time as Secretary is nearly complete.  It has been a pleasure being the Secretary for the past 2 years and I wish the new Board for 2025/2026 all the success for the upcoming year.
 
So one last newsletter from me, and then I start to prepare for our big 50th Birthday holiday coming up later this year. We cannot wait.

Well Done to Jill and Rosemary on sharing your adventures in Kenya at the recent afternoon tea event. The funds raised will be greatly appreciated by the Hannah Community Project.
Did you Hear???
 
We are proud to sponsor the Magdalene Catholic College team in their upcoming adventure in Florida where they will be representing Australia in the International Space Settlement Design Competition.  Go Aussies!!!
Thank you to Margie and her wonderful team of volunteers for coordinating the 2025 Science and Engineering Event last Friday 13th June.
Lifeline Tour - Monday 16th June
 
Thank you To Veronica and Glenn for giving us a tour and insight into the services that Lifeline provide. They are truly amazing people who volunteer and work at Lifeline.
It was also lovely to share the evening with our friends from Rotaract.
City to Surf & Sydney Marathon Volunteers
 
If you are interested in volunteering at either of the below events, please let me know so that I can advise the organizers ASAP. For each volunteer the club will receive a donation of funds.
 
  • City to Surf - 10 August - $100 per volunteer donation to our club funds – Rotary section is between Hyde Park and Rose Bay!
  • Sydney Marathon – 31 August - $80 per volunteer to our club funds – Rotary section is Moore Park 
Both volunteer opportunities will require a start time at 6am and finish between 11am to midday.
