Sarah Seattle opened the meeting with an acknowledgment of country and welcome to members and guests.
Club Assembly was moved to a Tuesday night as a trial to encourage those members who cannot attend our Wednesday meetings, the board will discuss and determine if this should happen moving forward.
Environment Matters
80% of adopt-a -tree goal achieved with plantings continuing.

RYPEN- 1 applicant

MUNA- June 17th - St Patricks College keen to participate.
Sarah also looking at organising a local event
ROTARACT- work continues on establishing our local combined Macarthur club, looking at options for places to meet.
Science and Engineering Challenge- 12th May - please let Margie know if you can volunteer on the day or the 11th with set up
Vocational Service
5th April is the First Responders awards night - we will transfer our meeting for that will to allow members to attend
ROVE 2023 - committee required to organise
POOTY- will be on in late 2023
Membership Matters

encourage all members to bring a friend or introduce a new member to our club
We have some great guest speakers in the coming months and its a great time to showcase the clubs work
International
Grace Maternity Hospital stage 1 is finished
Jean is looking for more funding in liaison with the Rotary Club of Voi.
We are holding on to our funds until they can be sent with purpose.
Teacher in a box - we are awaiting an update
Ukraine Appeal by rotary ongoing.
Rotary Foundation
Encourage members to donate to annually.
Every $ donated comes back to the club by means of grants every 3 yrs
Donations are tax deductible
Sarah to circulate form to members - using the correct form means club gets recognition

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - 4th May raising funds for Shining Stars
- $40 per person including a program and a drink $100 per family (2a 2c)
Shining Stars are keen to do a BBQ and we have said if they can get a date we are open to helping staff it.
Comedy for a Cause - 15th September $35 / ticket
Mega Raffle for Be Unstoppable Foundation
300 x $100 tickets for a cash prize
