DESCRIPTION:The Rotaract Club of Kingston (RCOK) is committed to improving 
 the quality of life within our communities through sustainable service ini
 tiatives that address pressing social challenges. Guided by Rotary Interna
 tional's commitment to improving health\, education and community well-bei
 ng\, RCOK proposes Empowered to Flow\, a year-long menstrual hygiene initi
 ative designed to combat period poverty by increasing access to sanitary p
 roducts for vulnerable girls and women.   Operating under the service the
 me "Com Serv Wid RCOK"\, this initiative reflects the Club's belief that w
 hen service is rooted in love\, we restore dignity\, remove barriers and e
 mpower individuals to thrive. No girl or woman should have to miss school\
 , work or essential daily activities because she cannot afford basic menst
 rual hygiene products.   Empowered to Flow will establish a sustainable d
 onation programme through strategically placed collection receptacles in s
 upermarkets\, pharmacies and corporate offices. Members of the public will
  be encouraged to donate sanitary products or contribute financially towar
 ds their purchase. Throughout the year\, RCOK volunteers will host pop-up 
 awareness and collection drives to educate shoppers about period poverty w
 hile encouraging participation in the initiative.
