So many reasons to be proud of Jim Adams
 
Jim Adams, who joined the Boys & Girls Club of Troy staff as the Club Director in June 2016, directs and manages the overall daily operations of the Club with primary concern for the programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations, marketing, public/media relations, and membership administration.
 
Jim previously worked for six years at Special Olympics Michigan, serving as the Director of Special Projects. While at Special Olympics Michigan, Jim led a variety of fundraising events and initiatives throughout the state of Michigan, and directed the department’s social media strategy.
 
Jim also has developed programs and implemented fundraising strategies for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Boys Scouts of America, and the YMCA.
 
Additionally, he serves as the chairman for an international leadership program for high school students through Rotary International. He also recently was honored with the Arden Detert Youth Service Award from Rotary for his dedication in working with youth.
 
 He resides in Troy with his wife, Angela, and their sons, Cameron and Cullen.
