“America First”: Americans Consider their Place in the World

Bruce Zellers was born and raised in SE Michigan. He graduated from Oakland University (after a brief stint at Lawrence Tech) and then went on to graduate school at Clark University in Massachusetts. He has taught American History at Greenhills School since 1983 and  at Oakland University, since 1990. He lectures frequently on 20th century America, particularly on American wars. He reviews books for the Michigan War Studies Review and the Journal of Military History. He lives in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
