Steps You Should Take to Protect Yourself From a Cyber Attack

The FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center receives over 1,300 complaints daily with an estimated $3.5 billion in losses to individuals and businesses in 2019. It is not a question of if you will become compromised, it is a question of when. Mr. Isaacs will share some basic tools that you can use today to better protect yourself from the hackers on the internet. Benjamin Franklin said, “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”. Taking a few simple steps, will better protect you and your computer in the future.

Craig Isaacs is the Executive Vice President of Operations at Cygnus Systems in Southfield. Cygnus is a leader in IT infrastructure and VOIP telephony. Craig has worked in the technology space for more than 30 years spending his early years in telecom at Executone and Ultracom. In his career he has held many positions; field engineer, installation manager, sales representative, vice president of operations and owner. He has been a Sandler Sales Institute Presidents Club member for more than 10 years.

 

Mr. Isaacs has served as a board member and ambassador at the Farmington, Farmington Hills Chamber of Commerce. He also served as president, vice president and member of the International Board of Advisors for BNI (Business Networking International).  

 

Craig lives with his wife Diane of 30 years in Beverly Hills. He has 27 year old twin daughters Brooke, (high school teacher) and Danielle (leader at United Shore Mortgage).
