ANECDOTES FROM TROY'S PAST

Jeanne Stine will share stories from her memory of the early days of the City of Troy and especially the Big Beaver corridor. 

Mrs. Stine has been a central figure in Troy Government for over 30 years.  She was Troy City Council Mayor and Councilwoman.  She has served on the boards of over 40 local, regional, and national public service organizations including President of the Michigan Association of Mayors, Vice President of the Michigan Municipal League and Chair of the National League of Cities Transportantion Committee.

In her retirement Jeanne continues to work with local elections, make soup for church luncheons, serve on the Boards of Troy Youth Assistance ad Troy Community Coalition, Chair the Troy Firefighters Women's Auxiliary, and is a vocal advocate for the Troy Public Library and the Troy Civic Center.

Jeanne is a very special Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Troy who for many years has actively participated in service and other Rotary events.
