Rising Up to Meet the Needs of All Youth-Boys and Girls Club

Jim Adams, Club Director for Boys and Girls Club, will share the strategies that the Boys & Girls Club of Troy have implemented to provide a safe and positive place for local youth to thrive during a pandemic. 

Jim Adams, who joined the Boys & Girls Club of Troy staff as the Club Director in June 2016, directs and manages the overall daily operations of the Club with primary concern for the programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations, marketing, public/media relations, and membership administration.
 
Jim previously worked for six years at Special Olympics Michigan, serving as the Director of Special Projects. While at Special Olympics Michigan, Jim led a variety of fundraising events and initiatives throughout the state of Michigan, and directed the department’s social media strategy.
 
Jim also has developed programs and implemented fundraising strategies for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Boy Scouts of America, and the YMCA.
