Martin Flores Bjurström is a fellow physician in anesthesiology and intensive care at Skåne University Hospital, Lund. He has previously conducted research at the Cousins Center for Psychoneuroimmunology and the Pain Management Center at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His current doctoral thesis research at Lund University focuses on mechanisms in the central nervous system which may underlie chronic pain, with an emphasis on sleep – pain interactions
