Since the beginning of 2020, COVID-19 continues to be an extraordinary factor in all of our lives, from how we work to managing our personal lives at home...
And in the midst of this global pandemic, Rotary Dragon Club has been struggling to raise charity funds for fighting Covid-19, as well as for their consistent goal of eradicating Polio in the world.
In order to make the fundraising event successful and attract more people involved, we have designed and organized an online auction in mid-September with the idea of “Simplify Your Life Donate For Charity“. This event brings two companies as main donors and about 30 personal donors.

Items up for bid includes packages of bottle waters, red wines and household goods. More than one hundred buyers contribute to the auction from Delta, West Vancouver, Richmond and Burnaby of BC through Wechat communication, they transfer the items at Deer Lake finally to make sure there is no indoor gathering.

As people of action, Rotary members are engaged in their communities during the pandemic— gathering for projects and offering help to those in need. They support efforts to promote proper hand washing techniques, teach people other ways to stay healthy, and supply training and vital medical equipment to health care providers, donating protective gear and other supplies to clinics and hospitals. And also, the eradication of polio is one of Rotary International’s longest standing and most significant efforts. Along with our partners, we have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and we won't stop until we end the disease for good.
