Last Thursday found us at M1 Grill.  The Board met at 11:00 AM and John G & Gale joined us at noon.  M1 Grill delivered, the food was fresh, large portions and, of course, I took my salad home for lunch on Friday
Tim had breakfast, Susan had a giant pita (she couldn't finish), Candy a burger (she couldn't finish), Tom had a salad, and I think the Johns had sandwiches.  But the star of the day was Gale's salmon!  It looked perfectly cooked and she said the pilaf on which it was resting was even better.  She definitely took it home with her.  Other than the winter chill from the air conditioning, and the fact that nobody asked to see pictures of my almost new dog (who is pretty much housebroken, by the way), it was a great lunch.

Tom noticed my Swedish American license plate cover and asked if I knew any Swedish.  Well, I do, but only the graces my grandmother taught me.  He was interested in finding out how to pronounce a town in Sweden.  I actually found a website that will do that for you.  Unfortunately, I couldn't get the volume to work.  Tom's back on his own.

The picture was not taken by me, but judging by the quality, it could have been.  And this was the best of three:

Tomorrow ends the Summer Eatings, and we finish with a favorite...........................Bronx Deli  247 S Telegraph Rd, Pontiac, MI 48341.  Just look for Gale's happy face and order a corned beef sandwich, you will not be sorry!
