Rotarian Richard Berkfield braved the cold and rain to represent our Pontiac Rotary Club at the 36th annual Hunger Walk to benefit Lighthouse of Oakland County. The walk helps fund the increase in food demand the Lighthouse pantries experience during the summer months when students have less access to school meals.
Thanks to Berk's efforts, the Pontiac Rotary Club was celebrated as the Hunger Walk All Star ---- Pontiac Rotary (ie, Berk!) raised the most money of any single organization! We appreciate Berk's efforts as well as the generosity of many Rotarians PLUS Berk's circle of generous friends. Fewer Pontiac children will go hungry thanks to YOU!
