Rotary International has partnered with the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to eradicate polio worldwide at a cost of over $9 billion worldwide. We are so close to completely beating this terrible disease which has killed or permanently disabled so many. Each year, the Rotary Club of West Bloomfield donates to the Rotary Foundation Polio Plus Fund with the assist of a matching donation challenge by club member, Hal Parish.
