Due to the continuing COVID-19 crisis, we are unable to reschedule our Mission Possible gala. While the event itself has been cancelled, our mission to support youth continues and the needs are growing.  Thank you to our generous sponsors who assisted us in securing funds to continue our scholarships for at-risk WBSD students, provide Thanksgiving meals for those who have none, purchase books for pre-school children and support WB Parks in building a universally accessible playscape at Drake Sports Park.

Have you ever seen a child with limited mobility on the sidelines of a playground longing to play, but who can't because of physical and social barriers?

Do you know a young person who could use additional support and encouragement in order to better succeed in school?

Do you know families who don’t have the means to prepare and enjoy a Thanksgiving meal?

Have you ever seen the excitement on the face of a five-year-old when receiving a new book of their own?

The Rotary Club of West Bloomfield invites your participation in Mission Possible – Creating Opportunities for Youth, a distinctly special event that will benefit these causes.  Mission Possible will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at the Cauley Ferrari of Detroit Showroom in West Bloomfield, Michigan from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

All proceeds will support Rotary service projects that aid children in our communities.   Funds raised will:

  • Help the West Bloomfield Park District purchase Universally Accessible barrier-free playground equipment for Drake Sports Park in West Bloomfield;
  • Support and increase Rotary’s STRIVE (Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the Value of Education) Scholarships which go to “at risk” high school students;
  • Provide Thanksgiving meals for less fortunate families through our “Team Turkey” project;
  • Purchase books for every pre-school child in the West Bloomfield School District through our “Pre-K Book Bash.”
