Incoming Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith said "Blessed are those who dream dreams and are willing to pay the price to make them come true" (enfice added).  I first heard those words several weeks ago and again last Saturday but it took a while to sink in.  Are our dreams worth paying for?  How much would you pay to see your dreams come true?

As Rotarians we dream of a world free of Polio, a world where no child dies from contaminated water or malnutrition and a world at peace.  As Rotarians we dream of communities with adequate parks, well stocked libraries, tree lined streets and all residents having enough to eat and proper medical care.  Those are but a few of Rotarians dreams.  Rotary Clubs, Rotarians and friends of Rotary world wide have shown a willingness to pay the price to make their dreams come true time and time again.

No you do not have to be a Rotarian to dream dreams but it helps with dreams as large as the eradication of Polio.  What about you and I and our dreams for our community?  Are we willing to pay the price to make them come true?  The answer has to be yes because our community deserves no less.
